About Us

History

St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church started The Manna Pantry in 1989, running it out of a closet. Subsequently, St. Mary Catholic Parish and Immanuel Lutheran Church joined in this joint community ministry.

The Manna Pantry was granted 501(c)(3) tax exempt status in 2014. In 2015, the Manna Pantry was incorporated and became an independent non-profit organization which is still housed at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. It is no longer run “out of a closet”. Rather, it occupies their garage, which is now referred to as “the annex”.

Meetings

The Board of Directors meets at 4:00 pm on the second Tuesday of the odd-numbered months. The Board’s Executive Committee meets at 4:00 pm on the second Tuesday of the even-numbered months. For location, call 231-408-2940.
