Manna Pantry: Expanding Food Access in Mecosta County!

At Manna Pantry, we’re committed to ensuring everyone in our community has dependable access to nutritious food.

We’re excited to share updates on how we’re diversifying our food distribution channels to better serve our neighbors.

Here’s what’s new and ongoing:

Site Pantry
• Call to order once in parking lot: We remain a menu-of-choice pantry—select the items you need, based on our inventory.
• What’s available? Protein/meat, dairy, cereal, canned goods, bread & baked goods.
• Who do we serve? About 28 households or 80 individuals each day.
Mobile Pantry at Mecosta County Fairgrounds (Drive-Through)
• When: 1 Saturday per month (usually the 4th Saturday). Start time: 9:30 AM.
• In partnership with Feeding America West Michigan (FAWM).
• Who do we serve? 110–160 households (approx. 350 individuals) each month.
• 70% of the food from FAWM is wholesome and nutritious!
NEW: Pop Up Pantry
• Fresh fruits, veggies, breads, and baked goods—thanks to Aldi, Meijer, Panera, and Walmart!
• When: Fridays (sometimes Wednesdays), starting at NOON. Open until food is gone.
• Who do we serve? About 40 households or 120 individuals each time.
• Our volunteers pick up and distribute same-day—fresh food, fast!
Looking Ahead :
We’re exploring ways to expand our Pop Up Pantry to additional days and new locations, making it even easier for our neighbors to access fresh food. Stay tuned for updates!

Open 1:00 Monday Tuesday Thursday.
Noon on Wednesday and Friday.
We are closed by 4:00 or when food inventory has been distributed.
